This delightful property consists of two separate houses joined by a courtyard, large garden and pool. It is only let as one property and is therefore ideal for two couples or extended family. Each house has double bedroom, kitchen, large lounge with sofabeds, shower room/wc. The garden has 10 x 5 pool, fruit trees, loungers etc and lovely views of the village. English SatelliteTV, CD, DVD, washing machine, dishwasher, well equipped kitchen in each house and log fire and radiators for winter or Christmas stays. 10km from Vaison la Romaine and Nyons, each with weekly markets , local restaurants and bars, and plenty of Roman ruins to explore!

The house is ideally situated for exploring Provence with its historic towns - Avignon, Arles, Aix, etc, beautiful countryside - the Dentelles de Montmirail, Mt. Ventoux, and of course the vineyards of the Cotes du Rhone, producing delicious reds, whites and famous roses which can be tasted with the local vignerons in their caves.

The area is perfect for walking cycling, bike and horseriding, as well as kayaking and canoeing in the rivers, or just enjoying the wonderful cultural sites . Anyone who enjoys markets is totally spoilt as there is at least one market per day in the neaby towns and villages, as well as the famous Isle sur la Sorgue antique market each Sunday of the year. Neaby towns such as Orange with its world renowned Summer opera season, Avignon with its Festival, and the Roman theatre in Vaison provide a huge selection of live performances

Out of season you can enjoy truffle hunting (winter), Christmas fairs and markets, organised picnics in the vines, or just enjoy the changing scenery as the vines ripen and the leaves turn to red.

Easily reached by air to Nimes, Avignon, Marseille or Montpellier, or by TGV to Avignon, or a leisurely drive stopping en route from Calais or Le Havre.
