The area is famous for its Cotes Du Rhone and Cotes du Rhone Villages the most prestigious being Chateauneuf du Pape. Wine tasting are available at most of the caves but particularly at Gigondas, Cairaine, Sablet and of course Chateauneuf du Pape.

A swimming pool is available at the property but river swimming can be found in the Ouveze or Toulourenc rivers. The Mediterranean can be reached in 1hour 30 minutes. The Dentelles de Montmirail and Buis-les Baronnies are ideal for hiking and rock climbing. The nearest horse riding centre is in Vaison. Canyoning can be done in the Gorges de Toulourenc or the Ardeche ( one hours drive away ).The area is a paradise for cyclists and cycles can be hired in Vaison and in Malaucene. Those who are especially keen may climb Mont Ventoux whilst more leisurely cyclists can meander along the sun drenched lanes, stopping for the occasional cafe au lait beneath the shade of a plane tree. Golf courses can be found near Avignon, Orange and Saumane.
