Set in the heart of the Loire Valley, in a UNESCO-declared region of 'Outstanding beauty', lies the peace and tranquility of Vieille Maison which is located about 30km from the fashionable town of Saumur, and situated in idyllic countryside. Vieille Maison provides immaculate accommodation for a relaxing holiday while providing the perfect base for touring this popular area of France.
Vieille Maison is one of three individual one bedroom gites at 'La Rue Vaslin' which nestles between the villages of Parcay les Pins and Gizeux. Situated just a few kilometres from the Bourgueil and Saumur vineyards, it features UK satellite TV/DVD, wi-fi, CD Players, and well equipped kitchens with dishwasher. It also has the benefit of having a private garden as well the use of the communal grounds, 11 x 5m swimming pool with south-facing sun terrace and games barn.
The pool complies with French safety regulations and sun-loungers and chairs are available.
At the front of the property is a large games barn which has table tennis and bikes which are available free of charge for guests' use.
Vieille Maison itself is an extremely well appointed ground floor gite featuring a gorgeous super-king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room, and a charming open plan lounge/kitchen/diner which features the traditional bread oven. In the bedroom, a single futon chair provides for an additional guest/child.
There is a laundry room with washing machine and drying facilities.
Outside, Vieille Maison has its own private garden and patio area which is well equipped with outdoor furniture and BBQ.
