Just 13 miles south of Mont St Michel.Virtually on the Normandy/Brittany border. A delightful area of Châteaux, apple and chestnut trees; wide open spaces and forest, intercepted by outcrops of granite and steep-sided valleys with woods, rivers and streams. The Old Bakehouse has been carefully modernised, preserving its original charm. Set 15 yards off a private cul de sac and 50yds from the passing road with its entirely private garden and parking area situated behind a high hedge, but open to the south and the sun which add to the intimity of the snug and easily heated interior, . St Ouen (bar/store, 8 to8, baker, excellent lunchtime restaurant ,garage & hairdresser (mixed) less than a mile, Antrain (supermarkets) 3+ miles. Avranches, Dol de Bretagne, Combourg 17 miles, Le Mont St Michel & beaches 13 miles, St Malo 32 miles, Cherbourg and Caen 2 hours. Excellent golf courses and fishing in the area.
