Just a ten minute walk from Talrest along a country lane we have a archaeological site dating back to the year 1000 well worth a visit. The small town of Pontivy is just 15 minute drive away, with the Nante-Breast canal, and restaurants, shops, and a stunning chateau to visit.
Talrest is ideally situated for what ever your preference. White deserted beaches warmed by the continental climate drifting in from the Gulf de Morbihan, to one of many breath taking walks along Brittanys beautiful savage coastlines.
Just a short drive away you can visit medieval towns dripping in flowers, stunning chateaus, restaurants with enough seafood to satisfy any appetite. Drive along empty country roads through lush countryside, it's not difficult to understand why Brittany is called the "Garden of France ".All of this is what makes Talrest an ideal place to take your holiday, not too far but far enough to enjoy all the above.
To make your stay more enjoyable and relaxing Talrest includes fresh white towels, pool towels, warm bath robes,beautiful white crisp cotton/linen sheets, your bed is made and rooms are cleaned daily ( at your convenience) OH! and for the more energetic we also include bikes.
Accomodation:quaint cottage with south facing French window over looking private patio enjoying extensive views of a superb, well maintained garden, filled with bird song and wild life. Cottage1 has patio furniture and use of B.B.Q area. The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen with large dining table, carpeted lounge area with two large comfortable chairs. Open staircase to mezzanine double bedroom with large window filling the room with natural light and en-suite shower room.
