800 metres walk into the village and 3 lovely beaches. The full width sliding doors from the lounge open onto the dining balcony and a wonderful sea view.
Collioure is known as "the jewel in the crown" on this beautiful coastline. The combination of mountains and sea is breathaking when relaxing on the beach, or in one of the many cafes or restaurants within the village. Fantastic walks (try the new headland walk over to Argeles) and scenic drives. Hire a pedalo or book a boat trip. Watch the children play on the park, scuba dive or take a trip on the little train through the elevated vineyards and admire the views, Collioure holds a renowned market twice a week where you can try local wines, cheese and the famous Collioure anchovies.
Car not always needed as Collioure has trains to Perpignan and a bus service to neighbouring villages. We can provides details of taxis and the Frog Bus which connects with Girona airport.
Many flight options, Perpignan the local, quaint airport - is only 15 miles away approx. Then Girona (in Spain - be aware Ryanair call it Barcelona/Gerona - code GRO) - still only 50 miles away, are the two nearest, but it's worth considering Carcasonne, Beziers, Barcelona and even Toulouse.
Safe car parking is available on the roadside, immediately outside the complex at the base of the stairs up to the apartments.
In more detail, the appt comprises:- 1st floor accommodation. Hallway leads off to the bedroom with a double bed and fitted robes. Seperate toilet. Bathroom with bidet, bath and shower over. Large lounge with bed settee and dinng table. TV, CD player, bookcase. Fitted Kitchen with oven, 4 ring hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, iron, board and airer. Lounge opens onto balcony with dining table and chairs and 'the view'.

A small developement of about 36 apartments, on the fringe of the village, backing onto vineyards. Quiet location. Great elevated position overlooking Collioure village, the castle, the church tower & the sea. Ideal spot for walking over the tops to Port Vendre. Yet all within 5 mins walk of the action.
This small complex is mainly owned by French, as their holiday homes, which are seldom used outside the main French school summer holidays. All apartments are individual but not all have 'the view', from their balconies.
