Le grand juif is a cluster of traditionally renovated farm buildings in a rural farming hamlet 5kms from Aigre with its shops, restaurants and market.
Ideally situated for visiting Châteaux, Roman ruins, walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding etc. Cognac, Saintes, Angouleme, Futuroscope, Royan, La Rochelle all within easy reach.
'The stables' is a character conversion is in the upper storey of the old stable block with the original oak beams. The gite is set in enclosed grounds with a roofed patio area, barbecue and garden furniture. Below is you own private games room with table tennis, a darts board, washing machine and ironing facilities.
Your accommodation comprises of an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room with all modern appliances: cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, television and dvd.
There are two enclosed bedrooms and a separate bathroom with a full size bath with shower mixer taps. Bedroom one has a double bed and bedroom two has two single beds.
The gite is situated in the main courtyard where there is a communal walled pool,play barn, large garden, table tennis and childrens and toddlers play area.
Linen is included in the price with provision of clean linen at the end of the week if the holiday is two weeks or more.
Short term and long term bookings and flexible changeover days can be taken out of peak season.
