Charmingly restored farmhouse apartment sleeping 2 with pool set in large garden

La Cabrerie nestles close to a small mediaeval hillside village & fortified Chateau midway between Toulouse & Carcassonne.
Set in our 50 acre Domaine of mixed farm & woodland the tranquil 1 acre garden is perfect to sit, unwind & drink in the stunning views over the rolling countryside & magnificent sunsets.
Amongst the many good eating places in the area is the village 1 Michelin star restaurant, only a 5 minute stroll from La Cabrerie.

LE GRENIER, our charming first floor apartment with large lounge (17 ft X 13 ft) including bedroom area with double bed, large comfy chairs & spacious built in wardrobes & cupboards. T.V. & D.V.D. Player. A balcony window offers superb views across the valley.
The open plan kitchen/diner is divided by a breakfast bar.
Bathroom with shower, washbasin, bidet, toilet & hair dryer.
Portable Air conditioner available, charged extra.

Large selection of English D.V.Ds. to watch on T.V.
Both Toulouse & Carcassonne have daily flights & fly drive facilities. We can send detailed directions from either of the airports on request.

La Cabrerie is ideally situated to explore this culturally rich & fascinating Cathar region. Toulouse, Albi & the ancient walled city of Carcassonne are all nearby, while the Mediterranean (1 hour), The Pyrenees & Andorra are all pleasant day trips away.
We have a selection of English language guide books to the region .
Revel, 6 miles from La Cabrerie, with its beautiful mediaeval market square holds a Saturday morning market, not to be missed. Delicious produce from the surrounding countryside includes hams, fresh goats cheese, spicy olives, eggs & poultry, flowers, fruit & vegetables of many varieties.
Lac St. Ferreol (6 miles away) is a picturesque tree lined tourist lake. It boasts restaurants, picnic tables, pedalos, sailing, wind surfing & a sandy shore for sun bathing & swimming. A life guard is on duty during the tourist season.
Two bicycles are available free to our guests on request.
