As a conversion of traditional stone farm buildings, L'Hirondelle has many interesting features, including exposed stone walls and magnificent oak beams, giving the gite its unique character. Downstairs, all the floors are tiled, and the living area has an ornately patterned frieze. The hardwood staircase leads to a delightful galleried seating area - a light, airy space with dual aspect views over the courtyard and garden.
L'Hirondelle's glazed entrance has large French doors opening into an atrium which rises full height to reveal impressive, original oak timbers and a minstrel’s gallery. The open plan lounge complete with TV and CD based hi fi system has comfortable seating. Along with the kitchen and dining area, it comfortably accommodates up to 8 people. The gallery affords additional seating and views to front and rear of the property.

There is a well-fitted kitchen with generous storage space, fully equipped to include crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils. There is a full size gas cooker with four-burner hob, washing machine, microwave and large fridge-freezer.
One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor. It is a pretty twin-bedded room with a French door leading onto the courtyard patio.
An attractive hardwood staircase leads to the galleried landing with twin aspect views over the garden and courtyard.
The master bedroom is both spacious and generously furnished. It has a magnificent king size bed, with traditional upholstered head and footboard, and full suite of matching cream furniture.Also on the first floor you will find a charming twin-bedded room with oak furniture typical of the region. Both first floor bedrooms have chestnut flooring.
All rooms are equipped with electric convector heaters.
NB - A 4th bedroom may be available with this gite. It is a double en-suite ground floor room and is especially suitable for guests with disabilities, having wider door access, with wet-room shower facilities, all on one level.

There is a path leading from the car park to L'Hirondelle's garden and front entrance. The garden is equipped with table and chairs and has a stone barbecue. There is also a courtyard patio area with table and chairs.
The car park leads to the extensive grounds, pool and play area. There are swings and trampoline, badminton and boules, with some smaller toys for toddlers.
The 10x5 metre pool is fully fenced to comply with current French regulations. It has a generous sun-bathing terrace, complete with sun loungers.
Opposite the pool is a covered games area with table tennis and table football. The grounds themselves are home to a variety of animal and bird life, with a number of magnificent mature trees and shrubs.
