This rural traditional stone cottage retains many of its original features such as oak beams and stone walls having been sympathetically restored with marble tiles and oak flooring. Set in a tiny hamlet the cottage has one bedroom with a large en suite shower room, a large open plan lounge, modern fitted kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped including a washing machine and dishwasher. There is a TV which receives English television and a DVD player. The cottage has a morning terrace where you can take coffee beneath a grapevine and a very pretty private courtyard for evening drinks and outside dining. There is a swimming pool which is shared with another small cottage.

The cottage is a 5 minute drive from the village of Laguepie where you will find all your local amenities including restaurants, bars, mini-markets, bakers, beauty institute, hairdressers, church, pharmacy, doctor, newsagents, two rivers and a ruined chateau. Local activities include canoeing, river swimming, walking, hiking, horse riding , cycling, tennis and golf.

There are plenty of places of interest to visit including the stunning medieval towns of Cordes-sur-Ciel, Najac and St Antonin-Noble-Val as well as the wine-growing region of Gaillac. Nearby major towns include Albi with its famous cathedral, Montauban and the city of Toulouse. Just up the road is the Lot valley with its breath taking gorges and famous caves. Numerous chateaux can be found throughout the region.
