L'Arjalier is a stone building, extended to provide comfortable accommodation. Set among the foothills of the Alps, it is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and lavender fields. There is a prvate pool ( 10m X 5m ) and the river Eygues runs just beyond our gate. The grounds are quite large and ideal for children to run about in safely. There is a boules/ pétanque pitch, and table tennis and badminton can be set up, too.
It is within easy distance of the charming town of Nyons, with its medieval centre and its fabulous weekly market. The Roman towns of Avignon. Orange and Vaison-la-Romaine are close enough to visit. Both the river Ardeche and the river Drome can be canoed. There are many opprotunities for tasting Cotes du Rhone wines in the vicinity. The house has 3 double bedrooms, but also 2 folding beds, plus a sofa bed in the living room. 1 en suite shower room and one shared bathroom.The grounds are large and could take tents.
