3 bedrooms sleeps six plus double sofa bed in its own lounge.

This house has two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom in addition to a comfortable sofabed in the second lounge. The main lounge is open plan onto a dining area and kitchen. There is a wood burning stove in the lounge plus a television with some Uk channels. the dining area has genuine french antique table, chairs and huge dresser. the kitchen is modern, very well equipped, with dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, electric oven and gas hob.
The bathroom is large and bright and has a bath with a shower over, a bidet, sink and loo.
The swimming pool and garden are great, there is a huge BBQ too and plenty of outdoor furniture to sit and relax and enjoy your holiday.
In the large garage there is a full sized table tennis table. The house is in the centre of a village, there is a small bar/shop and a boulangerie.
This house is fully equipped as it was our family home but as we are away in France now working we hope that others will come along and enjoy it as much as we have done for the past nine years.
The house is close to shops, the nearest supermarket five minutes drive away and fifteen minutes takes you to Gueret which is quite a large town. There are plenty of attractions in the area for days out and about.This area is often referred to as the "lake district" of France as there are so many small lakes to be enjoyed, all manner of water sports are available about 15 minutes away at Lake Courtille in Gueret and many other places around and about. There is a wolf sanctuary at Gueret and also a huge maze. Closer to the house is an "adventure in the woods" activity, all ropes and swings and so on, incorporate this with a walk through the woods and see the amazing rock formations hidden in there, finish of with a snack or an ice cream at the cafe. The nearby town of Boussac has a bustling market every Thursday morning with a couple of pavement cafes to sit at and watch the world go by. Dominating the approach to Boussac is a château, very spectacular and its possible to have a guided tour most days.Although you have a private pool at the accommodation if you were unlucky enough to have a rainy day there is a brand new pool complex about 20 minutes drive away in the direction of Montlucon. These are just a few ideas of interesting days out but there is much more to do and we are more than happy to offer more information should you require it.
