The château is situated on high ground and enjoys views over the foothills of the Beaujolais mountains and woodlands.
Lyon a world heritage city has to be visited but do not overlook our 14th century hill village Perreux or the adjacent town of Roanne famous for Troisgros a Michelin 3 star restaurant listed in the guide Top 50 restaurants of the World. Many local restaurants are run by Troisgros trained chefs for that gastronomic experience within a budget. Revellions International chocolate factory and shop can be found on the banks or the River Loire which flows through the town.
On entering the château you will find a large Hall 9m high with fire place, oak stairs and minstrels gallery. The Salon is modelled on a Music Room at the Château of Fontainebleu, a former Kings residence near to Paris. You can play pool or relax in the walnut panelled room which has a carving of Baccus the God of Wine over the fireplace.You can socialise and cook at the same time as the kitchen is surrounded by a bar with visual access to all of the above rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes fridge, freezer, dishwasher, cooker and washing machine. The Hall has satellite TV with Sky news and BBC/ITV channels, DVD and CD player. . There are 6 bedrooms, four with double beds, one with 2 singles. the sixth being a family room with a double and two singles. All bedrooms have their own private bathroom. Two have showers as well as baths. Two fold up beds for children are also available, bringing the total sleeping capacity to 16. Outside you will find a swimming pool, barbecue, loungers, tables, lawn and park, all for your exclusive use.

The chateau has direct access to a premier grade fishing river and a number of mountain bike and walking trails start from just outside the grounds.
