Set on a magnificent elevated 5 acre site, with spectacular, uninterrupted panoramic views to the horizon, through almost 360 degs. To the south the views take in lake cabournieu, forests beyond and the Pyrénées mountain range 35 miles away. To the north the views are over gently rolling countryside.The chateau fell into disrepair many years ago. The original extensive outbuildings have been totally rebuilt and tastefully refurbished, providing, spacious, comfortable self-catering holiday homes. Facilities on site: Large swimming pool having a wide terrace with sun loungers, chairs, tables and umbrellas. Baby pool for very young children. Basketball net, table tennis, bar football, darts and climbing frame/swings. Within the grounds there are areas suitable for ball games, petanque etc. Washing machines, dryer and rotary lines. Locally: Good markets and restaurants, riding, sailing, water sports, golf, fishing and cycling are all possible in the vicinity. Toulouse, Auch, Pau, Lourdes and the Pyrénées are all an easy drive. Major country and western music festival held in nearby Mirande-July and the Largest Jazz festival in Europe held in nearby Marciac-August. Additionally: Bilingual hosts on site, assistance and advice for house hunters, special long let rates.
