Three room (one bedroom) apartment in Musicians area, sleeps 2
The property is a quiet, three-room apartment on the fourth floor of a 1950s apartment block in the chic Musicians area, accessed by a lift. It sleeps 2 and comprises a living room, a bedroom with double bed, a separate fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom, a separate w/c, and has small balconies front and back.
With French windows to balconies on both faces of the building, it is light and airy in the summer; and fans are available in all rooms to assist ventilation; but the central heating with radiators in all rooms mean that it is also pleasantly warm in winter.
The apartment is reached by a frequent bus from Nice Airport in 15 min. All shops and services needed are very close: within 2 minutes walk are a market with fresh flowers, fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, a supermarket, two bakeries, a chemist, a laundrette, an internet cafe and a good restaurant; within ten minutes are the beach (the elegant Promenade des Anglais) , the railway station (where cars can be hired), and the main shopping street – the day’s UK newspapers arrive mid-morning .
You will not be bored. Apart from the beach, Nice has numerous museums as well as many cultural events throughout the year, such as the Opera (autumn and spring), the Jazz Festival (July) and the Carnival (February).
If you want to venture further afield, the apartment is perfect for access to other parts of the Cote D’Azur by train: Antibes, Cannes, Monte Carlo , Menton are all within one hour.
We are now in our 5th year of renting the apartment to guests from Britain, and many have returned several times.
