Well located for exploring Normandy; Landing Beaches 15 mins
Located in the friendly village of Pont L'Abbe, Picauville, in the Cotentin Nature Park, 35 minutes drive from Cherbourg and only 15 minutes away from the Normandy beaches, the house is on a quiet one-way street, overlooking meadows & poplar trees yet is only a few seconds stroll from the square with boulangeries, hotel-restaurant, bars & shops.
Holidays in Normandy offer D-day sites, stunning beaches, chateaux, walking, cycling, fishing, golf, riding, canoeing, surfing, sand yachting, kite surfing, tree-top adventure, bird watching and nature, markets, antiques, art, music, good restaurants and delicious local food and drink. All these are within 20 minutes of our Holiday house. Or you could choose to relax on the terrace with a glass of wine!

Two pairs of adult bikes are included in the price; other on-site activities include a climbing frame, sandpit, paddling pool, swingball & other outdoor toys. We have carefully furnished and equipped our holiday house in Normandy to ensure maximum comfort and minimum hassle for our guests. The house is enjoyed by couples without children; while families with young children or babies can relax because the house has everything in place to suit their needs.
On arrival at the house you will find the fridge cold, the water hot, heating on in winter, and the ability to make tea/coffee and have a meal with bottle of wine, pasta and sauce. There will be plenty of tea towels in the kitchen and bed linen will be folded at the end of each bed. You can start your holiday straight away!
To help plan your holiday, and get the most out of the area, there is a comprehensive Tourist Information pack in the Living Room. This includes recommendations from previous guests and "Pathfinder" Maps.
If there is anything that you are unsure of just ring me at any time using the landline in the house. If it cannot be sorted out over the phone then I will ask Lydia and Stephen, our English housekeepers who live in a neighbouring village, to pop over and help.
