Dating back to the 15th century with it“s magnificent tower, Chateau Hordosse is oozing with charm and history. A place for everyone whether you are looking for an action packed time swimming in our 15m salt water pool or playing tennis, maybe getting back to nature on one of the many surrounding forest walks ideal also for mountain biking. Or perhaps you would prefer to relax under the shade of one of our many parkland trees, read a book and listen to the bird song. Chateau Hordosse is bordered by two rivers and forest so there is, of course an abundance of wild life including a variety of deer and much birdlife. Fishing available on request. Golf course, canoeing and horse riding available nearby. The Chateau plays host to 4 beautifully appointed B&B rooms and suites. Our Gite - La Maison de Gardien is situated at the entrance to the Chateau gardens, it has 3 bedrooms,a fully fitted kitchen, living room with wood burning stove and a private terrace overlooking the river Osse. Chateau Hordosse is situated 5 kms from the beautiful market town of Nerac, where a vareity of shops and restaurants can be found.

Our gite the Maison du Gardien is priced from £350 - £650 per week (longer off season lets available).
