St Cyprien-Plage villa very close to sea and all amenities
The villa is situated in a quiet area of St Cyprien Plage, yet very close to the centre of the resort. Safe, sandy beaches with lifeguards on duty in the summer are only 5 minutes walk, as is the resort centre, with marina, restaurants, cafes and shops.
The villa is semi-detached and arranged on two levels, with a twin bedroom, a toilet and a shower room on each floor. There are two living areas, with a double bed settee in each. A music centre with a selection of CDs and a TV with built-in DVD and a selection of DVDs are included. There is a galley kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and all usual kitchen and dining equipment. A washing machine is situated on the first floor in a utility room. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board are also available.
Outside, there is a good sized, enclosed, sunny garden looking onto an open grassy area. A BBQ and garden furniture are supplied, including sun loungers. At the front, there is a quiet residential road, and a private parking space for people renting the villa.
Linen, towels, and electricity are all included in the price, as is cleaning at the end of your stay. For a small additional charge, a wecome pack can be provided. Airport or train station pickup can also be arranged
The property is around 15 km from the airport and TGV station at Perpignan.
There are many amenities available both within the town and further afield. The town boasts an international golf course and many fine restaurants serving local, regional and international dishes, generally at reasonable prices. If you fancy serving up a culinary delight on the barbeque yourself, fresh fish can be bought directly from the boats most days. There are two public squares, where events are staged in the summer months. Bikes can be hired if you fancy a little exertion. Fishing and leisure cruises along the coast can be booked at the port. A weekly market is held near the beach (more frequently in summer). Also within the resort's area is a large water park, a sports complex, karting and a nature reserve.
A little further afield, there are many vineyards providing a local source of wine. Perpignan is the largest city in the area, with the old town featuring quaint cobbled streets and historic buildings as well as a large shopping area.
Within driving distance, there are many places of interest including Collioures and Ceret. Cathar castles abound, including Queribus, Peyrepertuse and Carcassonne.
During the winter, skiing resorts in the Pyrenees can be reached in about an hour and a half. Trekking and climbing are also readily accessible. If you prefer going down to up, a scuba diving centre operates from Cerberes.
Outside of the high summer season, part weeks and alternative start and end dates for your holiday can be negotiated.
