The gite at Chenevaux is a fabulous place to relax and unwind. We renovated the building 7 years ago and have made it homely whilst still retaining its typical French character. Pool, table tennis, croquet lawn, golf, covered terrace, 7 acres of grounds and art studio where Mark offers classes it's ideal for an out of season break or for a longer family holiday.

The Gite has very comfortable, practical accommodation for up to 5 and a baby. Two large bedrooms - one with a large double bed and a single, the second with two singles. ( The 3 singles can all be put in the second bedroom ). The bathroom is also upstairs. Downstairs the spacious (40 square m) open plan living room, dining area & kitchen are very well equipped and there is English tv, a dvd player, wifi, books and games. The gite has its own garden, surrounded by trees & shrubs, leading to the 10x4m fenced pool ( permanent/in-ground) Guests also have the use of the extensive grounds which incorporate a croquet lawn, 9 tee pitch and putt course, table tennis, barbeque terrace and shady eating area. There is a gravelled parking area as well as shady parking under a barn. Sunloungers, parasols, tables and chairs are set out in the garden and around the pool.
The baker delivers to the door nearly every day so you can enjoy fresh croisants, pain au chocolate etc for breakfast!
Art classes are offered by Mark in the studio.

Chenevaux is on a private, no through road, in 7 acres of grounds which incorporate a 10x4m fenced pool, 9 tee pitch and putt, a croquet lawn, table tennis under a covered barn, art studio, the Gite, the Farmhouse, a barbeque area and covered terrace and several other barns and outbuildings.

Rental of the gite includes all linen, bathroom towels, electricity, cooking gas, use of the pool & grounds - golf, table tennis & croquet. Clean linen & towels are provided for guests staying a second week.

St Pierre de Maille is a small village set on the river Gartempe, it is very quaint with supermarket , cafe & restaurant. Nearby Angles sur l'Anglin is officially one of the most beautiful villages in France and has a ruined castle, shops, cafes and restaurants.
