Les Jincheres is situated in a rural peaceful and beautiful location it is entered by its own private driveway and sits in over 2 acres of land surrounded by sun flower fields and apple orchards.
Logis du Meunier is a large one or two bedroomed cottage dating back to the 17th century and is full of character and charm with wooden floors and oak beams. Facing south and looking towards the gardens and pool it is a perfect setting. The rooms are very spacious comprising: entrance hall, large lounge dining room, kitchen, utility room. Upstairs One large double bedroom plus single bed & en-suite shower room, twin room with own shower room. Kitchen is well equipped including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, cooker, fridge/freezer etc., A stair gate, highchair and cot are available if needed. The cottage also has UK freeview TV, DVD player and CD player.
It has its own sitting out area with table and chairs + barbeque.
Also on site there is a large playing field with table tennis, badminton, football net, basket ball, etc., and sandpit and paddling pool for the smaller children.
The pool is fenced and gated and is an ideal place to relax
The lake is approx 1/2 acre and is gated with hedging all round and has wild carp, bream roach etc., in it. Guest are welcome to fish.
Our nearest airports are La Rochelle and Poitier which are approx 1 hour away Nantes is another option being approx 1 1/2 hours away.
Our nearest ports are St Malo approx 3 1/2 hours away. Caen and Roscoff approx 4 1/2 hours away.
Our nearest supermarker is in L'Absie which is approx 4 Km away it has most amenities including, doctors, dentist, P.Office, butchers, chemist, bakers, Newagents, bars, restaurants, etc.,
Our nearest seaside resort is La Rochelle which is well worth a visit with its bustling harbour and shops.
The cottages have their own file of up to date tourist leaflets with all the local attractions in the area with lots more information of local restaurants, markets etc.,
