The chalet is situated three minutes drive from the centre of Samoens, an historic village full of local character and charm and only one hour from Geneva. Samoens is part of the Grande Massif ski area with over 300km of alpine slopes. In the summer it is renowned for its mountain walks and many leisure activities. Accommodation comprises three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, one en-suite, with substantial living space downstairs including sitting/dining, kitchen, WC, utility room and garage. There is an open log fire, TV, DVD, washing machine and dishwasher and comes fully equipped with bedding, towels, crockery and cutlery.

La Grange a'Laurainne offers modern living in a traditional Savoie farmhouse setting, built in natural timber with exposed wooden beams, and is comfortably furnished throughout. It is cosy in winter yet pleasantly cool during the long summer months. The ground floor is mainly open-plan comprising an entrance, sitting room, dining and kitchen area plus a cloakroom, utility room and a large insulated garage. There are double beds in each of the three bedrooms with substantial storage space available. There are two generously sized upstairs bathrooms, one of which is master en-suite.

The chalet is one of three individual wood-built chalets in a Savoie-style farmhouse comprising over 135 square metres of living space, as well as a garage, patio and surrounding garden.

There are three bedrooms upstairs, two with double beds (plus inflatable double bed in the attic) and a family bathroom with jacuzzi bath and shower facility, basin unit and toilet.The master suite has a kingsize bed, walk-in wardrobe/storage, and an en-suite bathroom with shower, basin unit and toilet.

Downstairs comprises open-plan living with well fitted kitchen with electric oven/hob, fridge, sink unit, dishwasher and workspace. There is a large dining room table with seating for six or more and a comfortable adjacent lounge area. An open log fire compliments the under-floor heating and provides added warmth and atmosphere. There is a WC/cloakroom and a separate utility room for larder storage, coats and ski-ware and contains a washing machine, sink and fridge-freezer. There is a large lock-up/insulated garage which is generally used for equipment storage, drying and firewood.

The chalet comes fully equipped with bed linen, towels, crockery, cutlery, kitchenware and glassware as well as kitchen linen and cleaning materials. There is a TV and DVD and internet access can be arranged upon request.

Geneva airport, 80Km (50 miles) away offers convenient car rental and a taxi service is also available by arrangement.
