Relax and explore the Loire Valley from the comfort of a fully restored farmhouse. Ideally situated on the edge of the pretty village of Chevire le Rouge with superb views over the valley to a Chateau beyond. Just 2hrs 30mins south of the ports of Caen & Le Harve. Le Grenier has 2 doubles, 1 twin and a family bedroom. Le Grenier has been lovingly restored by the owners to make this a real home from home. They visit often and have made the house into a second home so everything you will need for your stay is included. Le Grenier has a twin bedroom and a double bedroom on the ground floor making access easy for those not as agile as others. Upstairs via an internal handmade oak staircase there is a master double and a family bedroom. Le Grenier sleeps up to 9 people. There are 2 bathrooms (one with a toilet), a separate toilet, a sitting room with English FreeSat TV, DVD & Hi Fi, a fully equipped kitchen - Dining room. Both the dining room and sitting room have wood burning stoves (plenty of wood supplied at no extra charge). All rooms have electric heaters for cosy winter stays. French doors lead from the main bedroom to a balcony and veranda plus external stairs to garden and terrace, where you will find 2 BBQ's. A quiet road leads to the forest, ideal for cycling, walking or a picnic. Tennis courts, a fishing lake, bread shop and general store are all within 3 minutes walk.
Le Grenier is equiped with:
Iron, iron board, Dyson, Hair dryer, washing machine,fridge, freezer, cooker, hob, grill, coffee machine plus all other normal kit.
Le Grenier is situated in a perfect location for visiting the delights of the Loire Valley. Just 20 mins north east of Angers and 30 mins north of Saumur. Also just 40 mins from the motor racing circuit at Le Mans.
Bauge and Durtal are the closest towns and are just 5 mins by car away. These towns have restaurants and supermarkets. (SuperU & Lidl).
You can pay for your stay at le Grenier either by cheque, Card over the phone and you can even pay with euros if you wish by bank transfer!
