Colombage Cottage with south facing private garden -

Our cottage is near the medieval Pont Audemer, less than 1 hour from Le Havre/ Caen ports. Paris is 90 miles by motorway and it can also be reached by train from the near town of Bernay . Other attractions that are within a comfortable car distance from the cottage are :
- Deauville's sandy beaches, Casinos and airport
- Hornfleur with its characteristic harbour and old town
- the historical town of Rouen ,where Joan D'Arc was burned at the stake - Monet's beautiful gardens and house in Giverny
Lakes, fishing, walks, horse riding, cycling, forests and Chateaux are nearby. Pont Audemer has a sports center with tennis courts and swimming pools.
The nearest 18 holes golf courses are at the Chateau du Champ de Bataille in Le Neubourg and at Deauville- Saint Gatien, appx 30k away.

There are two convenient restaurants within walking distance from the cottage. One of which (la Routiere style) is on the opposite side of the road.

Cottage description:
GROUND FLOOR: Kitchen with microwave, fridge, gas cooker/oven, washing machine. Dining room with sofas, satellite TV, DVD. Terrace and 1000sqmt south facing garden that is a real sun trap and surrounded by a 2mt high hedge.
FIRST FLOOR: Twin and master linked bedrooms. Bathroom with tub.
There are electric heaters to keep the cottage warm in autumn and spring months. No pets or smokers are allowed to rent the cottage.
