Marjoram a detatched,single storey 200-year old farm cottage,modernised,but retaining much of the original character. Set in a half acre enclosed natural garden,with Spa pool to relax in and enjoy the county views.
Situated in the Hamlet of La Carte about 3KM from Vasles.
Enjoying a tranquil setting for relaxing and visiting the many intresting attractions.

There is one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms (one of which can be a double).The large bathroom comprises a corner bath, basins and walk in shower cubicle.Separate toilet next to bathroom. There is also a separate shower room with toilet.
Duvets and pillows are provied; guests are requested to supply bed linen and bath towels. In exceptional circumstances hire can be arranged.
The fully equipped kitchen has a pine table and chairs, gas hob, built in electric oven, wood burning stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, utility room with washing machine,plenty of storage space, ironing board and iron. Crockery, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, hand and tea towels provided.
Television with Sky Freeview, DVD, video and CD player are all supplied with a selection of vidios and DVD's, books and various in door games.
Outside a long with the Spa there is basketball, badminton equipment,
and six bicycles (please note that these are ridden at guest's own risk).
Vasles offers amenities for day-to-day needs,including a supermarket, boulangerie,charcuterie,bank with ATM machine, restaurant, bar and a petrol station on the outskirts of the village on the D6 (Poitiers road).
Larger towns are Parthenay (19km www.france-for-visitors.com/atlantic/poitiers/parthenay.html ) and Poitiers (27 km www.france-for-visitors.com/atlantic/poitiers ) with its airport (Ryanair) which is easily accessible.

Keen golfers will be pleased that the Chateau des Forges (www.golfdesforges.com ) three nine hole golf courses are only 15 minutes away.The Club house restaurant is open to non members.
Although not on the tourist trail,there are many intresting and varied places to visit, suitable for young and old.
