The sunken French style kitchen opens on to a large living and dining area which has oak floors and exposed stonework.
Upstairs is a modern bathroom with bath & shower plus 2 good sized bedrooms, one double and one twin (which can convert to a triple if required thus sleeping 5 in comfort). Each window opens out to views across the pretty river and hills beyond.
The cottage has a private riverside terrace, perfect for barbecues and outdoor meals.
Each home at Le Banquet has spacious, comfortably furnished living areas with UK satellite TV, DVD, well equipped kitchens with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave etc. and each has its own terrace with barbecue and garden furniture.
All linen is provided, including towels.
The large 20ft x 40ft swimming pool & toddler’s splash pool are positioned to gain maximum hours of sunshine with plenty of sun beds & umbrellas.
Children are well catered for with acres of space to play football or rounders and a play area with swings, slide and a boules court.
The big games barn houses table tennis, table football, pool, lots of board games & toys for toddlers etc. It is Wi-Fi enabled and in one corner has an information table with hundreds of leaflets & books on places to visit & things to do & see in the local area.
Le Banquet offers a great opportunity to holiday in the most beautiful part of the Dordogne, an area well known for its numerous caves, castles and Châteaux, its 'plus beau villages de France' indeed the medieval town of Sarlat is just 20 minutes drive away.
