Restored from large white stone barn, with terrace
We have carefully restored the end of our barn to create Chez Amis to use for 4 or 5 people to enjoy a quiet holiday or a Bed and Breakfast break, short or long. You have a terrace for breakfasts outside and the full use of our saltwater pool. We left lots of beams exposed for a farm barn atmosphere but we added lots of modern conveniences.
From the terrace entrance there is a kitchenette with a gas cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, cupboards and basic kitchen equipment. A dining table and chairs, and settee and comfy chairs furnish the rest of the open, spacious room. One double bedroom with a shower room next door including shower, toilet and basin, and stairs up lead off this room.
Upstairs a mezanine area has an occasional bed for a fifth person or child, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a shower room with shower, toilet and basin.
As owners we do work int the garden or have to carry out maintenance around the property but all this accommodation is completely self sufficient and does not share with anyone else.

There are spectacular views of fields, woods and rolling countryside all round giving some wonderful walks, and we are close to the Lot valley with the vine fields and picturesque villages, the Bastide towns of the 12th century with their grid system of roads, and some on hillsides so steep they seem to be suspended, the medieval towns of Cahors with its dark tannic wines, and Moissac and its ancient Abbey and cloisters, Agen and its juicey prunes - especially delicious when coated in rich dark chocolate!
There are 2 leisure areas with lakes, beaches, amusements for the children and restaurants on site. There is tennis, swimming pools, bikes, horse riding, climbing trees, Go Karting for the energetic youngsters and for those wanting more peaceful occupations there are restaurants in profusion, large and small cheap or expensive, wine tasting, and exploring every nook and corner of this lovely country.
Our saltwater pool is at your disposal, though we might take a dip while you are out, and our BBQ is by the pool for your use too.
The nearest airport is Bergerac and we are close to the A62 and A20 for easy access to UK.
